If any "Normal Working Person" performed (or failed to perform) in the manner that the US Congress has they would be FIRED!
If these 535 individuals don't understand that their own ideology is not important to the Nation, but, the fact that they were elected to SERVE the people then they should go home (without pay)!
Any "Common Sense" person understands this why can't these supposedly intelligent individuals get it!
There should be call from the people that Enough is Enough! They obviously don't have the first idea of what it means to compromise for the common good.....only what benefits them and their ideology (on both sides of the aisle).
The PEOPLE have the power to stop this insanity (defined as doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result). FIRE THEM ALL....and along with them their support staff as well. The time for the blame-game is long past, it's time for action and they don't get it. They are so absorbed with keeping their jobs they are not doing their jobs!
The Founding Fathers never intended "Public Service" to be a lifelong career with a benefits package fit for a King. It was intended that Ordinary People would go to Server the People for a period of time then return to their "normal lives". This concept has been replace with a huge machine that produces generation after generation of the career politicians that protect the ones that financed their elections.
I firmly believe that if every one of the "535" were to be FIRED the Country would be a better place and that finally gridlock in Washington would cease for the sheer fact that they elected would truly be accountable for their actions (on in their case the lack thereof).
Join me in pushing this issue forward.....I don't profess to have all the answers, but, it's plain to see they don't have a clue and should be accountable for screwing this up on their watch (just like you or I would be at our daily job). ANYONE would be better this bunch in Washington and elsewhere....don't you agree?
